LOVES: His friends, Ginny Weasley, auror training, the Burrow, Mrs. Wealsey's cooking, Quidditch.
LOATHES: Fame, Rita Skeeter, pureblood supremacists, paper work, dancing, dementors.
STRENGTHS: Defense against the dark arts, natural Quidditch player, thinks fast under pressure, selfless.
WEAKNESSES: Hero complex, bad temper, rash, Ginny Weasley.
OVERVIEW: At first stance, people will speak highly of Harry. Not only due to the fact that he, well, saved the country, but generally, people without bias (such as Slytherins and Voldemort’s followers) think of him as a nice sort of fellow. Upon meeting him, most teachers said he was engaging. And if it hadn’t been for Dudley’s shadow growing up, he would have had a lot of friends, which is something that’s not difficult for him. He’s kind, usually modest, reliable, helpful, extremely loyal; and these are all things people are able to see from the start. Then, when you’ve become his friend, you’ll get to experience how much he loves them and is willing to sacrifice for them. Hell, he’ll even sacrifice himself for complete strangers. He’ll defend those in need and is not afraid to stand up for what he believes. But if you’re close to him, you’ll also get to see just how stubborn he can be, at times tactless, though unintentionally, and sometimes even a bit arrogant. You’ll know that he appreciates sarcasm and that his temper can get the better of him more easily than not. He has a clear tendency to be impulsive and not think things through carefully, but luckily, he’s able to think fast and manage his way out of the most precarious situation. But despite all these things, Harry is someone you’d want to have a friend. He didn’t grow up loved, but he’s very capable of it. He’s grateful to the people who’ve been there for him. He’s giving, aware that he’s been blessed economically, often trying to help out where he can in that regard.

BIRTHPLACE: Godric's Hollow.
CURRENT RESIDENCE: London.
OVERVIEW: The days following the defeat of Voldemort are somewhat of a blur to Harry. The weeks following, actually. The first thing he did after speaking to Dumbledore’s portrait was sneak into the Gryffindor common room and sleep for almost twenty-three hours. Alone, as far as he was concerned, and very much detached from the world for as long as the slumber lasted. It was Kreacher who, not so ceremoniously, apparated into the boys dorms with a plate of food, to remind the boy just how hungry he was, which Harry was thankful for.
After that, he would spend the next couple of days at Hogwarts with the remaining Order members fixing the castle, doing a body count and being aware of the news from outside and learning of the plans Kingsley and the others made for the future of Wizarding England. Then to the Burrow it was. While Hermione proceeded to fetch her parents in Australia, Harry stayed with the Weasleys to mourn the death of their friends and, for the family, especially Fred’s. It may have been one of the few times the entire family was home. He doesn’t remember much from those days except going to one funeral after another; he remembers holding his godson Teddy for the first time at Remus and Tonks'. He almost didn't go to Colin Creevy's since by then, everyone was so emotionally exhausted from hearing euologies and trying to keep George from sinking. But how could he not?
Then there was the amount of owls he kept receiving from all over. It got to a point, on the day of his birthday, where he, along with Arthur, Ron and the rest of his brothers, had to conjure up fireworks just to keep the birds at bay in order to enjoy their small, half-hearted celebration. Journalists requested interviews, prominent members of Wizarding society wanted to meet him, regular witches and wizards wanted to thank him.
The entire population of Britain waited to see how the world continued to develop over the course of the year. Hogwarts was rebuilt almost to its full previous splendor. Its doors reopened just in time for the new term, despite changes still being made as it began. The ministry took longer to get back in shape; people were fired, trials were being held daily, entire departments were redone. One of the few times Harry got to see Kingsley during these busy times was shortly after his birthday, when he came to the Burrow to talk to the trio and offer them jobs under his new reign. While Hermione not so surprisingly postponed accepting the offer in order to go back to Hogwarts and graduate, Harry enthusiastically accepted to be a part of the auror training program and fulfill the dream that, then more than ever, he knew he was destined for.
And so, with the summer almost over, he decided to make use of his inheritance and move to London. Number 12, Grimmauld Place wouldn’t look as it does today without the wonderful help of Mrs. Weasley, for which Harry is now able to call it his home, despite one day having hated the huge house. It’s too big, but it’s all his and, even better, it’s still unplottable. It keeps nosy reporters from knocking on his door. And they still seek him despite him having answered all (important) questions four months after the end of the war. Rita Skeeter had been quick to publish a book on his life that made absolutely no difference to Harry and the names of certain members of the Order were being cleared in the papers, to the skepticism of many, while other members of society were being exposed as Death Eaters through the same means. The papers got the facts mostly wrong and this fact slowly, but surely got to Harry. So, in the end, he decided to finally sit down with one reporter of his choosing and give out and exclusive, quite comprehensive and quite lengthy interview that was transcribed for every wizarding publication in the country as well as broadcasted in the Wizarding Wireless Network, in which Harry was able to, under his terms, tell how things really went down (minus the details he deemed the world didn’t need to know). He cleared both Sirius’ and Snape’s names and talked about the Death Eaters the Order and the Ministry hadn’t yet been able to capture, as well as the ones who were at the time undergoing investigation. After that, the owls diminished considerably, though not entirely.
By the time he began auror training, Harry was starting to adjust to a normal life, people slowly started to leave him alone more and more and he was able to devote his time to becoming an auror just like any wizard his age would do. He visited Ginny on Hogsmeade weekends and ate at the Burrow on all the others. His first year of training came to an end and Harry is so far doing splendidly, minus at times having to fight expectations, preconceived notions and his own flaws.
He just turned nineteen. He'll see Ginny more now that she’s graduated from school and for a while everything seemed to be taking a turn in the right direction for him. For a while at least. It's been a little over a year since he defeated Voldemort on the 2nd of May of last year and they still haven’t caught all who need to be incarcerated.
