LOVES:
+ quidditch, her firebolt, chocolate, her well read copy of quidditch through the ages, good food (it's about the only reason she still visits her mother), side-splitting laughter (although it's been a while since she's really laughed), firewhiskey, loud Muggle music
LOATHES:
- drinking herself stupid, coming across as obnoxious (sometimes she just can't help being a stubborn cow), falling off her broomstick, remembering him, brussel sprouts, crying in public, stress, disappointment
STRENGTHS: athletic, intelligent, determined, passionate
WEAKNESSES: fiery temper, blunt, stubborn to the point of stupidity
OVERVIEW: Angelina has always had a temper. It flares up unannounced and subsides just as quickly. Anything can set it off these days, whether it's a team mate dropping the quaffle, or someone mentioning anything to do with the war. It's still a sensitive subject for the girl, and she'd rather not go there. Of course, her stubbornness doesn't help it. Rather than talking about the loss of a very close friend, Angelina prefers to fill her days with Quidditch than come to any sort of closure. And if Quidditch practice is cancelled, Angie turns to the Firewhiskey bottle.
Due to her years of playing Quidditch, Angelina is very fit and athletic. She's a very active person and needs mental stimulation if she's doesn't want to get bored. She could never sit still for more than ten minutes, although these days it's more because dwelling on things don't do her any good. She's a very determined and motivated person, trying her hardest to succeed in everything, but more often than not, Angie can't cope with the stress of balancing everything she wants to do with everything she needs to do. Angelina's also a very competitive spirit, although she never resorts to cheating. Never.

SIBLINGS: N/A

BIRTHPLACE: Oxfordshire, England
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Flat in London, England
OVERVIEW: angelina corinne johnson was born on october 24th, 1977 to her parents shaniqua and joseph johnson. her mother is a Muggleborn witch and her father is pureblood, making angelina halfblood. she is an only child; even though her parents tried many times to give angelina a brother or sister, they never succeeded. so angie's child was spent being doted on by both of her parents. ange first showed signs of magic at the age of four, opening the fridge and levitating food off the shelves when her parents' backs were turned. rather than being scolded, the johnsons were delighted with their daughter and proceeded to immerse her in the wizarding world.
angelina was bought her first broomstick at the age of six by her father, much to her mother's dismay. shaniqua was angry that joseph wanted their only daughter to play quidditch as she thought it was more of a male past time. however, upon seeing how much of a natural angie was at riding the broomstick (excluding the first few times she fell off it), shaniqua kept quiet on the matter afterwards. when angie was eleven, she received her hogwarts letter, and upon arriving at hogwarts, she was sorted into gryffindor house.
whilst at hogwarts, angie became very good friends with a fellow gryffindor girl called alicia spinnet. they soon became inseparable, and when angelina tried out for the gryffindor quidditch team in her second year, alicia went right along with her. angelina made the team as chaser, and alicia placed as a reserve. angelina was amazed at making the team and tried to ignore the fact that her mother wasn't all too happy about it. hogwarts soon came to be angelina's second home and she proved time and time again she was rather intelligent. winning the quidditch cup for the first time in her fifth year and again in her seventh year were the highlights of her hogwarts years. as well as playing quidditch for her house, angelina put her name in the goblet of fire so she could participate in the triwizard tournament but unfortunately, harry potter and cedric diggory were chosen as the hogwarts champions. in her sixth year, angelina went to the yule ball with fred weasley, sparking their on/off relationship.
upon leaving hogwarts, full of ambitions to join a professional quidditch team with her best friends alicia and katie, angie's mother started hounding angie about her obsession with quidditch and asking why she couldn't get a normal job. for this reason, angelina remained unemployed while she tried to figure out what she really wanted to do with her life, something that she could do even when she was too old to play quidditch. but she came up with nothing. during the second wizarding war, angelina supported the order of the phoenix in private, secretly helping her good friend lee jordan with his broadcast potterwatch and staying down low. since she kept her da coin on her, angelina was alerted to the fact that the battle of hogwarts was taking place and immediately arrived to help fight the death eaters with katie, alicia and oliver wood.
when fred died, angelina truly didn't know what to do with herself. she was devastated, but didn't want to let others help her with her grief. she clammed up, refusing to talk to anyone about it or snapping irritably at them whenever they mentioned it. over the years, it became easier for her to deal with, but she still feels empty, more like a shell than anything. about six months after the end of the second wizarding war, angelina tried out for the ballycastle bats, and to her surprise, got a position as chaser. she's been playing for them ever since and fills her days with quidditch instead of spending them sulking around her flat.

RP SAMPLE:FROM A DURING THE WAR RP
The Johnson house had been quiet ever since Angelina's parents had left and the young witch didn't like it one bit. The radio in the kitchen wasn't blaring the Wizarding Wireless Network and her father wasn't here to sing along with Celestina Warbeck with his deep bass. Her mother, Clarisse, wasn't sitting on the couch with the latest issue of Witch Weekly calling her daughter over to look at everything she wanted, not-so-subtlely dropping hints for her Christmas presents. The strong scents of the herbs and spices her parents used religiously didn't waft from the kitchen through the rest of the house. Angelina tried cooking herself the night after they left the country and ended up with something that looked strangely like charcoal. Needless to say, she had taken to eating out of the house. After all, without her parents here, it hardly felt like home anymore.
Maybe that was why Ange was trying to spend so much time away from her house. Being in the house made her feel sad and being in such a quiet house filled her head with thoughts of how she might never ever see her parents again. Angelina knew that both her mother and her father were thinking the same thing when they left; her mother had been practically begging her daughter to come with them to Spain or wherever it was they were going. But Angelina had refused to go with them. Her place was here, with her friends and the other people who needed her.
Even so, Angelina was getting rather bored of sitting around the house doing nothing. Of course, her mother had left it in impeccable tidiness and Angelina wasn't that much of a slob to make enough mess that she had to be cleaning everyday. And although Ange tried to see her friends at every chance possible, they had other things to worry about other than Angelina's increasing boredom and were usually busy with their own lives. Maybe her mother was right; Angelina should have found a good job while she got the chance...
The thought made Angie laugh outloud. A 'good' job on her mother's terms meant healing, the 'proper' profession for a woman. It was ridiculous really, how much Clarisse Johnson wished her daughter would follow her into the Healing side of magic. All her daughter ever wanted to do from an early age was play Quidditch; her father had ensured that with buying the girl her first broomstick at the age of seven. Even though Angelina fell off the first time she rode it, it quickly became clear she was a natural at it. Angie's father, even though he was Muggle born, was a huge Quidditch enthusiast when he was at Hogwarts and desperately wanted his child to inherit this passion. Obviously, he had a son in mind, and his wife wanted a daughter to follow her into Healing, but with Angelina, both of their wishes kind of merged in a way. Clarisse got her daughter, and her husband got the Quidditch lover he wanted as a child. Unfortunately, they weren't able to have anymore children and Angelina was all they had. The Johnsons had been bickering ever since Angelina left school about what she was going to do with her life. Angie's father completely supported her Quidditch ambitions and had tried talking Clarisse into letting Angelina try out for a few teams, but his wife wasn't having any of it. At first, all Mrs Johnson had wanted was for Angelina to become a healer, but now Angie was sure her mother wanted her to anything but Quidditch. 'It's not the right career path for a girl!' Clarisse had insisted, more than a hundred times. It didn't matter how much Angie loved the sport; it always came down to the fact that she was female.
But these days, even riding her Cleansweep Eleven was losing it's novelty. Simple broomsticks rides weren't enough for Angie anymore. She needed to get out of the house, with friends or without them. Sitting on the couch and twiddling her thumbs was dull, even at the best of times. Angie just couldn't sit around forever. Quickly she ran through the list of places she could visit without announcing herself. She could visit Diagon Alley, Angie supposed, drop by Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes and say hello to the twins who she hadn't seen in weeks. But then she wondered whether or not they would actually be there. Diagon Alley wasn't so safe anymore. What about Hogsmeade? Angelina couldn't think of any reason why she couldn't get a warm Butterbeer from the Three Broomsticks. Rushing around the house to lock the doors and make sure everything was secure, Angelina felt like she was far too eager to leave the house. It was embarrassing really, being cooped up like she had been. When the house was locked up, Angelina smiled and with a crack, Disapparated on the spot.
Crack! In an instant, Angelina found herself in the centre of the only wizarding settlement in Britain, as she overheard Hermione tell everyone within earshot several times. Hogsmeade was, surprisingly, normal. Sure a few of the stores looked like they had closed down, but many were still open. Angelina felt herself grin when she saw Zonko's and Honeydukes were still open. Both of those stores held so many memories for her, it would have been a real shame if they were boarded up like some of the others. Running a hand through her dark hair which she had finally taken out of her braids the year before last, Angelina wrapped her coat around her and walked towards the Three Broomsticks. It was full, but she tried to look for a seat anyway, and to her delight, she found one.
She left her bag on the table, saving it for herself and hurried up to the bar to get herself a drink. It was difficult for her to make her way up to the bar but she managed it in the end. The huge amount of younger people in the inn alerted Angelina to the fact that it must have been a Hogsmeade weekend for the Hogwarts students. Angie hadn't even been aware that it was a weekend, the days had all blurred into one. The fact that Hogwarts were still having Hogsmeade weekends made Angie strangely happy while she waited for her Butterbeer. At least somethings were still normal at the school. When Rosmerta finally got around to serving her, Angelina handed over two sickles and carried her glass back to her table, careful not to spill any. Seating herself again, she took her first sip of the warming liquid and couldn't help but grin to herself. It seemed like ages since she had last tasted the beverage and it reminded Angelina that nothing could ever beat a good old Butterbeer.
