LOVES:
- (muggle) video games (preferably the shooting-type and the RPG-type games)
- food (she loves to eat and yet weird how she doesn't get fat)
- muggle music (mostly music from her mother's homecountry, Japan but other music counts. Planning on bringing Rock-type genre in the wizarding world)
- wrestling (she seems to enjoy watching wrestling on TV)
- adventure (Couldn't stay in one place for long and tends to wander off)
- odd creatures (What majority finds creepy or odd, she finds them cute)
- singing (A natural performer)
- performing in the Leaky Cauldron from time to time (As the manager and lead vocalist/guitarist, she does a gig in the Leaky Cauldron to earn her living and hoping their music will be discovered by the wizarding world)
- Fashion (Japanese people tends to be fashionable so you can't blame her for mixing and matching her attire)
LOATHES:
- muggle discrimination (What one thing she hate is the discrimination about people, mostly in the muggle society.)
- status quo (She hates how people put other people in groups even if they don't want to. Just because she's different doesn't mean she goes with the losers, you know?)
- sore throat (That would mean she can't talk much and the least of her worries is this)
- magical racism (just becase her mom's a muggle doesn't mean she can't do anything squat)
- interruption (She hates it, makes her loose control and focus)
- bitter foods (Never a fan of it, for some reason. Hate the taste)
STRENGTHS:
- Brave & Headstrong
She won't back down any challenges- magic or otherwise- and would more than happy to actually fight back in her own power if she has to; She's the first one to charge and the last one to retreat.
- Optimistic
She looks things in a lighter side of life, not dwelling too much at the negativity around her. She tries to cheer those who she cares for because she wants them to believe that every cloud has a silver lining... or whatever that is.
- Loyal
As a friend, she will stay by their side no matter what and will not betray them even if it cost her life. She will step beyond the line if she have to do so in order to aid her friends and comrades.
- Promise-keeper
She always keeps her promise and never breaks them because that is her own vow as a wizard and as a woman.
- Thoughtful
Midori tends to think things a lot and thinking, and being concerned, to everyone and anyone is part of it.
WEAKNESSES:
- Temperamental
It seems Midori is quite easy to anger and a slightest of offence will cause her to throw herself onto the offender and give them a piece of her mind. Most of the time she will go with a verbal assault but a physical one isn't really that far off.
- Reckless
Despite being a female, Midori seems quite a reckless person who would do first before she thinks. Due to she tends to follow her instincts rather than logical side, it ended her in more trouble than she's worth. Nothing too major, though.
- Arrogant
You can't help it; she tends to brag sometimes and the slightest of praises will most probably inflate her head with hot air until she have to remember she's not the only one who gets the credit. Either or, she still prone of hot-airness.
- Blunt
When she say something, she say it straight to the point. She doesn't care if she harm other people's feelings at what she said; painful or not she will say it in your face and doesn't see to care the slightest about anyone's reaction.
- Lazy
She hates to admit it but she tends to be a bit lazy to the point that her room is a complete clutter compared to what people thinks about Japanese people. Then again, she's also a bit lazy to say her own nickname so you can blame her for her nickname 'Midorin'.
OVERVIEW:
One would say she have spunk, while others say she is quite juvenile but nobody can ever guess that this person is actually more or less than someone who would live her life her own rules. Midori would most rather do just like that, showing that she is an independent female who rather kick herself in the bucket of hipogriff crap rather than be chained and do what most conventional female witches do at these time. You can say that, most likely, Midori has her independent streak right here and there and, yet, she doesn't seem to borderline as a bad girl or anything else in between. No, that's not how she rolls.
Midori can be a bit of a rebel to people who do not know her or get aquainted with her. Since she tends to speak out her mind, many would think that a female such as her would end up as a troublemaker. For starters, the raven-haired female seems to not care the slightest on what people think of her, but she is fully aware of not going too far that will end her in murky waters if she knows what's good for her. If angered, she tends to fight verbally rather than ignore the offense but she wouldn't be off to have a fist-fight at some point if angered further. At those times, she tends to forget that she's a witch and can practically cast them a jinx or so, but then when she's angry she tends to forget some minor things like that. She can also be a bit blunt who doesn't care what other people would react or think of her for as long as she said what she wanted to say, but deep down she knew that they have to face the truth at some point and the easiest way to do it is through the hard way. She won't visibly show or tell that she hates you or anything (no, that's not how she goes, sadly) but if she hates someone or feels that this person is a bad news, then she tends to speak less and tries not to show any other emotions about it (the best thing would be if her tone gets a little snarky).
However, Midori isn't all that bad, considering how she's very close with her family and closer to her friends. If you manage to befriend her, she will make sure they would never regret it because the female is actually quite a loyal friend to have who knows her rights and wrongs and still have that will of hers in tact. She is as confident as she is proud and tends to express it in any way possible to show that she won't go down that easily. When it calls for it, Midori will not back down just to defend her friends and would do whatever she can to prove to them that there is no such thing as a friend who wimps out on others and that she won't give up on them no matter what. Contrary to the beliefs about Japanese people being polite and refined, the female tends to be quite the opposite and would even go as far as being silly from time to time, but she knows there are times that she need to slow down and take a few, deep breaths. Just, not most of the time, unfortunately.
For some reason, Midori loves to sing and create songs for their band and mostly the one who would make these things and the preperations. A gag about her would be that when she's shocked, surprised or just plainly unaware of herself (or, to be precise, absent-minded), she tend to mix in some Japanese words (or sentence) in her speech (as oppose to the Japanese who tend to mix in English words to their speech) which would cause confusion to people talking to her, only for Midori to quickly saying the meaning of what she said unless otherwise.
Despite her pros and cons, Midori still ends up as a person with her own morale and courage to show to everyone that she is her own person and she knows exactly what she wants, when she wants, where she wants. Mostly.

BIRTHPLACE: Tokyo, Japan
CURRENT RESIDENCE: London, England
OVERVIEW:
Midori's life story seems to be plain and basic compared to most, but most likely one of the anti-climatic ones in the Wizarding world's point of view. As the first-born, she was born in the humble suburbs of Tokyo, Japan and living a quiet, normal life in a normal suburbs in a normal city on a normal country. In fact, she seems quite ignorant of the fact that her father is actually a wizard (those days where 'he will be working and won't be home' was actually him working in the country of England to earn their living would mean he's working in the Ministry of Magic in London) or that she have the wizarding blood after all (Her father's a Full-blood wizard so it goes that way) but that doesn't mean that she doesn't shares her penchant for adventure and for the supernatural with him.
As a child, due to her Wizard father's absence, Midori spend most of her time studying in a normal school and playing with normal friends like what most kids do. It was also due to their influence that she grew fond of video games (even up till now, you will see Midori stuck in her muggle apartment flat mashing something on her hand while facing in front of an unusual box with moving objects- any random wizard would say) and spending her weekend evenings watching re-runs of wrestling and see their moves to no end. She also seem to be prone of fist fight (at that time, she is foreign to the word 'spells'; spells would mean spelling bee) and playing with other people her age. Her mother would teach her and tells her stories, most about 'magic and wizards and witches' (sadly, when it comes to that topic, Anime would comes to her little mind) not knowing that some of those stories were actually true and pertaining about her father.
Things went so fast in Midori's opinion and the next thing she realized, she and her younger brother, Yamato, were whisked off by her father to London at age Nine. Her mother told her that she'll be staying with her father while he explained to her that he is actually a wizard (though he did say that her mom isn't but he love her so). At first, Midori seems quite unsure about it and since she was plucked out from her normal life of Tokyo to London, she felt quite out of place for the first weeks of her stay in Europe and experienced a culture shock out of it. Nevertheless, it didn't took her too long before she felt accustomed with it, thinking that she can finally spend some more time with her father and that she is allowed to come home and visit mom from time to time with him.
When she finally strike Eleven, Midori experienced a surprise of a lifetime as she received a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Her father then explained to her that this is the reason why she needs to be with him as she gladly accepted the invitation with gusto and the two went to shop for things she needs (while Lancia, an uncle to her father's side, babysits Yamato) and, not long after, she was in the King's Cross station, bidding her farewell to her father and little brother and off to her new adventure to Hogwarts to learn magic, meet new friends (while punching in some enemies along the line) and to see what impact she could set in this mysterious school.
(Of course, when Midori found out that Electronic devices do not work in Hogwarts, she slightly regretted wanting to study but then her father would coax her, saying that if she did a good job, he will purchase a manga of her choice via muggle male and send it to her via an owl. That sure made Midori happy about it.)
From the First to the Third year, nothing seems to be out of place for her and things went well. She was even surprise there's such subject as Muggle Art (in which, for some reason, thanks to the fact that she gets a weekly delivery of those comics that she managed to ace this one with her 'Manga' style that most find interesting), Muggle Music (her love for music- from classical to modern- made her ace this one too) and Muggle Studies (half her lifetime she live as a muggle, remember?) though she did quite fine with the other, magical subjects as well; most notable with her excelling in the Charm class and in the Care of Magical Creatures class (they start to wonder why she find slugs as cute). The only notable thing that happened to her (before the Battle at Hogwarts episode) would be how she was accidentally transfigured by one of her classmates in the Fifth year into a rat and that she joined the Order of the Phoenix in her Fourth Year more for self-reasons.
Along the way, she met friends and gained some rivals as well but her Sixth year seems to be a lot more shaky than she expected, especially since that event nearly cost majority of the people in the school their lives (some were not spared). Midori was one of those who caught in the crossfire as she received an injured arm, a broken leg and brief concussion the worse (even though she did not participate in the fight). Fortunately, she managed to survive and like those who were sent off to safety, was sent back away from the war. After the war is over (where they are the victor), Midori decided that whatever happened in there she would not want to know and resumed her Sixth yerar in Hogwarts, wanting to finish her studies as fast as she could so she could finally get ouf ot that school en pronto. She did well in the NEWTS on her Seventh year (and was adviced a position as a Professor in Hogwarts, most notable in teaching Music which she loves) and after graduation, decided to visit her mother in Japan (she spends her christmas and summer vacation in Japan, just so to know)
Currently, she's returned to London and started her intern as a professor-in-training in Hogwarts.

RP SAMPLE:
"GAH~!! I'M LATE!!!"
Catching on a bus in the muggle world is already a norm for her, but thanks for the fact that she spend seven years in her life in a school full of things odd and magical, the female somewhat forgotten that muggle busses are crowded, they tend to leave on time without waiting for anyone and that they don't adjust themselves when things are crowded. Wow, sure it's a culture shock (once again) for her, but it won't be long before she get used to this once more.
Then again, she'll be returning to Hogwarts to get that intern, so it's a bit trouble that her worth at this time of the year.
"Phew~! I made it!" She murmured to herself, scratching the back of her neck and watched as these people mind their own business, not aware of the young female in a raven-black hair and brown eyes looking at them as if she was wondering herself what to do in life. "Looks like back to square one for me." She murmured more to herself, thinking about how 'crowded' this place seems as the bus rolled on the street to go whichway the driver intended to go. Working days seems crowded, she thought bitterly with a small sigh, watching some come and go while she sat at the back of the bus, twiddling with her fingers and watching once again.
It was perfectly a normal day. For anyone.
She looked at the arm that seem to heal pretty nicely after that accident, another sigh escaped her arms before waiting till only a few were left on the bus. Knowing she will be heading at the last stop, the female just waited patiently, taking mental note to herself to actually practice apparition or use the Floo powder in the first place. When the bus rolled in to a stop, she stood up, paid the fare and went down, looking both direction first to see if anyone's watching before heading to where St. Mungo's is located to have her arms get checked to see if she could remove the cast and probably visit her dad's sister who accidentally caught herself in a fit where her head would change to various animal heads upon sneezing. My, that is quite weird, gotta check that one out.
"Could be worse," The female named Midori said as she arrived at the receptionist. "Least I'm not dead."
Nice way to be positive, girl.
