Cas doesn’t really bother about the big picture. If he thinks it doesn’t affect him, he’ll ignore it. He likes knowing about what’s going on, so he doesn’t get surprised, but he’s not one to worry too much about his future or life. Cas is an independent person. Being an only child, Cas has learned that in order to get what he wants, he has to do it himself. He likes his personal space and alone time, but it doesn’t mean he’s a complete loner. He might appear condescending and cold if you’re not someone who appeals to him, but if he decides that you’re worthy of his friendship, it’s something that is not easy to get rid of. He can be an absolutely loyal friend.
Cassius is someone who appears not to have a temper. But he does. It’s not often seen because he rarely shows it out in the open. He doesn’t like feeling out of control and the few times he’s been furious, he took to punching the wall when he felt like hitting the person in question. When Cas is moody, he’ll ignore just about everyone and drown his sorrows in alcohol. Talking to him then is like talking to a statue. He is a stubborn fellow and sticks to his views, but knows when there is evidence to suggest he is wrong. He doesn’t admit it willingly, of course.
He’s not too concerned about how people view him. They can think that he’s a stupid mule for all that matters. In his love life, Cas can be quite the affectionate party. He’ll hug and kiss the girl whenever he feels like it, even better if it’s in front of someone who he knows didn’t get the girl. He remembers important dates, listens to complaints (though he’s quick to shut the girl up with a few kisses or more if it gets too much for him) and remains faithful. As long as the girl remains interesting to him.

OVERVIEW: The pairing of Isabelle and Crispin was decided long before the two of them were born. It was lucky that the two had some feelings for each other when they were told of their impending marriage. But those feelings were not enough to last them throughout their marriage. After the birth of their son, Cassius, the two argued constantly, mostly with Isabelle starting the fights. It did not help that Cassius was a Death Eater, and in the inner circle of The Dark Lord as well. That, together with his work as a Hit Wizard, took time away from his family. Cassius never saw much of his father and never developed a relationship with him. As for his mother, Cas was close enough, but knew when to stay clear when his mother had other men over or was in one of her rants.
His childhood was spent mostly in his room, or roaming the grounds of the mansion. He had all that he could ask for, a broomstick, an owl, a dragon. Well, not the last one. But Cassius had developed a fascination with Dragons from young. He’d opened up a page of a book and there was a dragon staring out at him. The First Wizarding War ended when he was three years old, and that was when he saw his father slightly more. Though a pureblood family, his father never told him he needed to avoid all mudbloods and that pure blood was the only way to go. His mother, on the other hand, told him so. She didn’t preach, but made sure that her son knew enough not to go about making friends with Muggles.
At Hogwarts, he was sorted into Slytherin. He made friends, and in his second year, joined the Quidditch team. His time passed by normally, with him being picked on by the older years. Slowly, as he grew up, he became the one who did the bullying whenever he felt like it. When the famous Harry Potter came to Hogwarts, Cassius was not very concerned. When events started happening, when rumours that The Dark Lord was back again, Cassius was sceptical at first. But over the summer, when his father reverted back to his behaviour of his childhood, Cas became convinced.
Still, he was not too concerned. He was a pureblood after all, and his father was a Death Eater who seemed very able to lead a double life. After he graduated, Cas left for Romania to peruse a career with dragons. He was not involved in the Battle of Hogwarts, but came back to England shortly after that. He prefers not to talk about that particular time when he was distracted by a lovely looking blonde. Cassius is now working at the Ministry, something he doesn’t really fancy, but is willing to do so at the moment.

RP SAMPLE:Quintus tried not to smile, but failed. “Don’t expect a soft landing when I drop you on your butt, Saft.” He told her. Nodding as she spoke about her weight, Quintus agreed with her. If someone her size was worrying about her weight, they had serious problems. Most girls always thought there was something wrong with their bodies and Quintus had come to accept that as a normal thing. As always, the thought of his sisters came into his mind and how he would lecture them if they thought they needed to lose some weight if they were perfectly fine.
“So I guess it would be pointless to ask you why girls prefer to keep a relationship secret then.” Quintus looked at his mug of Butterbeer. “I don’t suppose being ashamed is a good reason.” And it wasn’t like they were hardcore enemies or anything of that sort. Ari might not know it, but they were touching on a subject rather close to his heart. It would be best to turn the conversation to another topic before he spilled more than he wanted to, which always seemed to be the case when he was around her. “Does that convince you I’m not a ladies man?” Quintus asked, thinking that it probably didn’t.
He had just gotten himself into a right mess, hadn’t he? But he couldn’t blame anyone but himself. Quintus could just not turn up on that very day, whatever day it was going to be on, but it wasn’t his style. Whatever he said he would do, he would do. And now he had a date with Ariana Saft. He didn’t even have to ask her outright. That was a plus. He didn’t know if alumni were allowed back into Hogwarts, but he supposed if she had invited him, they were. “You’ll look good in anything, I believe.” Quintus told her, rather diplomatically. And yes, he did have some nice looking suits. He had no idea why he had them, since he rarely wore them anyway. “It sounds torturous.” The male replied Ari. “Green in your hair would make things less horrendous.” He stated. So he was a little biased towards the colour green. What else would a Slytherin say?
