LOVES: Laughter, roses, reading, summer, parks, intelligence, ear rings
LOATHES: Rude people, drunk customers, bad hair days, oranges, being ignored
STRENGTHS: Tolerant, thoughtful, observant, open minded
WEAKNESSES: Easily flustered/stressed, naïve, emotional
OVERVIEW:
Hannah is a friendly person. She likes laughter, seeing people smile and laugh makes her happy. She often offers help to people should they need it, though she’s been rebuffed several times as well for being a busybody. She doesn’t take it to heart, but there’s nothing more annoying to her than speaking to someone and being ignored. She won’t hesitate to strike up a conversation about the most random things, and has been known to do so with patrons. Hannah is a patient and tolerant girl. She’s able to talk to someone without getting upset, and is very open minded about new things. That’s not to say she’s reckless. She’s not. She is not a wild girl, preferring to be in the background, not needing any attention. Hannah is an affectionate girl. She’s the kind to hug a person if she’s feeling in a mood to hug them. If she knows them well, of course. She’s good natured and doesn’t have much of a temper.
She is easily flustered and stressed. When she’s under pressure, Hannah tends to react badly and make mistakes. Calling herself stupid and wondering why she’s still alive are just statements that Hannah makes when she’s stressed. Hannah isn’t someone with the highest self confidence. She doesn’t think she’s very pretty, or that she’s particularly intelligent. She always considers herself second best. Hannah is a very thrifty person; money has always been an issue for her family, although she doesn’t mention it. She is a private person and doesn’t like asking for help. The girl is submissive, often not standing up for herself when she needs to. As a result, she has been easily bullied during her younger years, relying on her friends to help her out. It’s still a habit she has yet to change, often forgetting that there might not be someone to help her out one day.

MOTHER: Marybeth Garfield, 43, Welcome Witch at Saint Mungo’s, former Hufflepuff, deceased
FATHER: Henry Abbott, 42, Healer, Former Ravenclaw, deceased
SIBLINGS: N/A
OTHER IMPORTANT FIGURES: Harriet Abbott, 43, Former Hufflepuff, Senior Writer for Daily Prophet
BIRTHPLACE: London
CURRENT RESIDENCE: The Leaky Cauldron
OVERVIEW: The first thing Henry Abbott remembered about his first day starting work at Saint Mungo’s was the Welcome Witch. Her blonde hair was messy, she didn’t look like she wore make up and her voice was just about the sweetest thing he had ever heard. He was smitten. When he next met up with his elder sister, he told her about the girl and was pleasantly surprised to know that they knew each other. His sister introduced them and within months, they started a relationship. Two years later, in the midst of the First Wizarding War, they got married. The Abbotts were a pureblood family, but they were not rich, or had high statuses in the society. Marybeth Garfield was a Muggleborn. Their marriage caused a bit of a stir, and made the newly married Abbotts a target for a period of time.
The Death Eaters got to Henry Abbott. Two Death Eaters cornered him after he left work from Saint Mungo’s one night and murdered him. Needless to say, Marybeth was hysterical at the loss of her husband. It was only made worse by the fact that she found out she was pregnant a few weeks later. Harriet Abbott, Henry’s sister, was the pillar of support for her. She moved in with Marybeth and helped raise Hannah, the daughter who would never know her father. For the most part, Hannah led a normal childhood. The war ended when she was two, due to the downfall of Lord Voldemort by Harry Potter. She grew close to her mother and aunt, and they fussed over her. She was a very sheltered child, having few friends and showing no signs of exceptional magic.
The letter to Hogwarts arrived when she was eleven, and Hannah was terrified of that huge scarlet train that was bringing her away from her mother and aunt. But she got on it, met a few people, and was sorted into Hufflepuff. Her life from then on was filled with excitement. Being in the same year as Harry Potter ensured that. First it was the stone, then it was the Chamber of Secrets, followed by the escape of Sirius Black. The Triwizard Tornament was thrilling and heartbreaking at the same time, with the death of Cedric Diggory. From then on, things went downhill. Hannah was never personally involved in whatever events that took place; she heard things mostly through rumours and gossip. But she believed it when Voldemort came back again. Between all these happenings, somehow Hannah managed to find time to study and take her exams.
It was in her sixth year that tragedy struck. Her mother was killed by Death Eaters and her aunt pulled her out of Hogwarts, not allowing her to remain there for the rest of the year. Her aunt would not have allowed her to return for her last year at Hogwarts, considering how things had escalated over the summer. But Hannah wanted to, and since she was of age, her aunt was not able to stop her. Returning to Hogwarts meant that she was at the front lines when Voldemort attacked. Hannah took part in the battle, being part of Dumbledore’s Army and personally witnessed the death of Voldemort, along with other causalities.
After the war, she stayed with her aunt for a while, before Harriet Abbott asked her to move to America, saying it was something she should have done long ago. Hannah refused, wanting to stay in London. Wishing her aunt the best, Hannah is now working at The Leaky Cauldron while considering what she should do with the rest of her life.

RP SAMPLE:The people did start to arrive, although Victoire did not catch sight of Leah. That wasn’t very unusual, since Vic had waited for Leah multiple times over their Hogwarts years while she decided on what to wear. The blonde had no idea who her guests were. Well, that looked like Leah’s aunt, whom Vic had seen once or twice in photographs. She made polite conversation before moving on to greet the other arrivals. There was a girl who looked like she could be related to Aiden. Aha. His sister. Lovely. Victoire thought in her head. Maybe she could give his sister a piece of her mind about her brother’s ways. But no, that wasn’t right.
It was probably a few good minutes before she was alone again. But not for long. Victoire had just been thinking of how strange it was that she didn’t really talk to Aiden when most of their social circle just revolved around each other; he was best friends with Teddy, she was best friends with his soon to be wife, he’d slept with her other best friend, when the man in question showed up. Her gaze went to him immediately, and she shook her head slightly when he complimented her decorations but didn’t look at her. “Thank you. It is after all, for the happy couple.” Vic told him.
She recalled her intention to actually sit him down and talk to him about Leah and Juliet and the entire mess he’d made. There was no better time than now, really. But, this was an engagement party. For Aiden and Leah. Not for her to drill him on his poor decision making skills. “I’m quite pleased I got to do this, you know, considering recent… events.” Victoire commented. Now, if Teddy had done when Aiden did… he would not have had a fiancée. Actually, the blonde thought that Teddy would have to worry more for his life, considering how the Weasley and Potter families tended to overreact to the love lives of their relatives.
